Listen to the Web

You and your student can listen to the web when you add Announcify to your Chrome browser.  Announcify reads out loud every website you want in a pleasant voice. It is a great tool for differentiation, research, and helping students read challenging content online.

Announcify can also claim an important part of the writing cycle. Students write in Docs, publish to the web and use Announcify to proof read. By listening to Announcify read out loud writers can more easily hear their errors and sentence structure. It also blurs out all by the current paragraph making it easer to follow along ad you read.

Hover over the tools on the left side of the page to pause, rewind and fast forward.

UPDATE: Try these other extensions that offer other voices and different control options than Announcify.
